Vice President of Sales, Wholesale. As a vital member of our executive leadership team, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be instrumental in driving wholesale revenue growth, developing a high-performing sales team, and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate multi-year growth strategies for our diverse product lines, targeting independent retailers, distributors, specialty chains, and other strategic partners.
- Create and manage a rolling budget that aligns with corporate goals and objectives.
- Optimize territory assignments while strategically leading sales teams to ensure effective support and compensation schemes.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key accounts to understand their needs, thereby enhancing support for the sales team.
- Develop a strong pipeline for new business development, identifying expansion opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Spearhead the establishment of a wholesale loyalty program to recognize and reward our premier accounts.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, elevating brand visibility and engagement.
Required Skills
- Extensive B2B food service/equipment sales experience.
- Strong leadership capabilities alongside P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth within the U.S. and Canadian markets.
- Established network of relationships within the food service industry, including buyers and distributors.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to present executive summaries of channel performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a food service reseller or wholesale sales environment.
- Proven track record of success in food service wholesale sales.
- Strong managerial skills with an emphasis on team success and development.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial metrics, including pricing, gross margins, and operational accounting.
- Experience in leading outreach initiatives via trade shows and other industry events.
